The main team consisted of:

• Alan Brownhill (Captain)
• Dave Hutchinson
• Martin Hopkins
• Chris Riddlesworth

Ken Pickard deputized in 2 matches once for Dave & the other for Martin.

He picked up 3 valuable points which enabled the team to finish top of group B with 4 matches & 4 wins.

We played Carisbrooke in the final who were awarded top spot in Group A above Leicestershire.

They were the only team to complete their 3 matches, Leicestershire having only played 1 match!!

Their team in the final was Fred Oldfield & Colin Richards & Michael Caban & Paul Hammond.

In the final after the first round the match was tied at 2 sets all but we won the last 4 sets to win 6-2.
